Jon-Benet killer caught, music world stunned
News of the capture of Jon-Benet Ramsay's alleged killer reverberated throughout the music world yesterday. A spokesman for Peter Gabriel (left) categorically denied that the singer-songwriter is or ever has posed as accused killer John Mark Karr (right) or used as his name as an alias. Additionally, Gabriel's spokesman said: "Peter's never even been to Boulder, Colorado, and knows nothing about this tragic case." Authorities are investigating.

You're thinking of Pete Townshend, who claimed to be doing "research" when his computer apparently had some nasty stuff discovered on it. Apparently he was exonerated....who knows?
Isn't there some sort of distinction with regards to pedophiles ... the differentiation being "actually touched a child" and "just looking?"
Not to defend him ... PT's on his own on this one, but still ... could he be classified a pedophile ...?
But then again, I guess someone could be a Francophile, even if they've never stepped foot in France.
I, for one, am neither.
I thought he looked more like Gary Numan.
